AGES 4-6

The Preschool 2 class is for children who have taken dance previously, preferably the Preschool 1 class. This class is a combination of ballet, tap, and jazz. This class continues to build on the skills learned in Preschool 1 and teaches rhythm, body position, and counting, while building on their technique.

Kinderdance emphasizes free-movement exploration and gross motor development, while also incorporating age-appropriate academic concepts such as colors, numbers, shapes, and vocabulary words. The result is a fun and engaging class that builds a strong foundation in dance, fitness, and acrobatics, while boosting confidence, body awareness, and mental development.

This program is a specially designed introductory class. Our beginners will receive the proper fundamentals in their first session, which will set them up for a safe and successful future in the art of AcroDance, enhancing student's motor skills and kinesthetic awareness. As they progress through this program, students will come to learn tricks such as: headstands, handstands, cartwheels, bridges and introductory partner work.
