This is a competitive dance team and will compete locally in 2-3 dance competitions throughout the season. Members will be invited to join by studio instructors based on age and ability, as well as through open auditions held pre-season.

This is our mid-level competitive dance team for students between 9-12 years old. Members will be invited to join by studio instructors based on age, ability, and overall dedication as well as through an open auditions held pre-season.

This team is also required to take Ballet 2 (Intermediate) as a compliment to the weekly practice. Students on this team must commit to attend 3-4 performances throughout the course of the session, as well as compete in 2-3 competitions each year.

Tap dance is not just about mastering steps—it's about infusing them with personal style and creativity. Our class encourages students to add their own flair to the routines, fostering a sense of ownership and confidence in their dancing.

Throughout the class, students will delve into the fundamental elements of jazz dance, including isolations, syncopation, fluidity, and dynamic body movements. From classic jazz steps to contemporary variations, dancers will explore a wide range of styles that showcase the evolution of this genre.

The class curriculum is carefully crafted to cater to varying skill levels, making it suitable for both beginners and those with some dance experience. Dancers will engage in a variety of exercises that focus on building strength, flexibility, and proper technique, all while developing a strong sense of rhythm and musicality.

Using ballet fundamentals, students will begin to learn how to interpret the lyrics of different music to create beautiful pieces of choreography that tell a story.

This is a combination class that is appropriate for first-time dancers. Jazz class includes an introduction to proper warm-ups and stretches for the body combined with across-the-floor progressions and mini combinations. The Tap portion of the class will concentrate on building confidence through mastering more difficult patterns and steps. The Ballet portion of class includes an introduction to the ballet barre and learning more challenging steps.

In this class, students will build upon fundamental acrobatic skills and dance techniques, working towards mastering more intricate maneuvers that showcase their strength, flexibility, and artistry. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students will develop greater body awareness, coordination, and control while cultivating their personal style and expression within the realm of acrodance.

For the committed and passionate young dancer, this advanced-level youth hip hop class offers an intensive exploration of urban dance styles and creative fusion. Participants will tackle intricate choreography, intricate footwork, and intricate body movements while blending elements from hip hop, contemporary, and other urban dance forms. The class will challenge dancers to push their physical limits, experiment with innovative movement combinations, and develop a unique artistic voice within the hip hop genre.

In the intermediate level ballet class, dancers delve deeper into the nuances of the genre. The class begins with a thorough warm-up, designed to further enhance flexibility, strength, and alignment. Under the guidance of the instructor, dancers engage in intricate barre exercises, executing elaborate combinations of tendus, développés, and grand battements.

As the year progresses, the focus turns to more challenging movements, including pirouettes, adagio sequences, and allegro jumps. Intermediate students are encouraged to hone their turnout, refine their posture, and master the delicate balance between control and fluidity.
